The Way They Are

I can't figure out where DSP hosts their newsletters online anymore (there used to be a page of links on the site, but it hasn't been updated since March). In any case, my quickie short is included this time! I'm so in love with this story (which I realize is a totally dorky thing). If you're subscribed to the newsletter, please check it out! If not, leave me a comment here and I'll copy it in a new entry!

So busy right now! Final edits on "Blue Moon" AND report cards are both due on Monday :O

If I were you, I'd have a moan to the people at Dreamspinner! Here, fwiw, is the bit from November's newsletter (yep, got mine, although I think it may have been the first for a while) about how to start receiving it:

I'm always afraid to moan to them too much ;)

I really don't understand the newsletter though. I do get mine, but it's hit and miss. It used to be that it came like clockwork at the first of every month, and there was always a link to where it was hosted online. In fact, there used to be a page of links on their website, but that's sadly out of date. After I sent the story to them, I asked if they planned to use it. I was told that the newsletter now comes out mid-month. It didn't come out mid October, and in fact came out close to the start of November.

I don't know, it seems like it's not a good marketing tool anymore, which is sad. Free stories have been good for me recently...I was looking forward to this one generating more interest.
